My wonderful memories of enjoying the outdoors began with going fishing, camping, and biking with my family. It was my dad who introduced me to the wonders of nature. To be with my family exploring Gods beautiful creations was very special to me. However, nature became more to me than family outings. It became one of my coping mechanisms.

My name is Stacey Holman and I am the owner of SEH Designs founded January 2023 in Genesee, MI. I make handcrafted jewelry inspired by nature using 999 pure silver and sterling silver metals. I create for women who embrace the peace, calm, and purity of nature.

So, why is nature a coping mechanism? Because I live with anxiety disorder which can be very daunting which is why being in nature relaxes and calms me. Combine that with making beautiful, fine silver jewelry to occupy my mind and I am surrounded by sheer happiness! This is why is started creating jewelry that continually reminds me of nature, it’s also part of the reason I chose a butterfly as part of my logo. The butterfly signifies transformation and rebirth. I consider this to have so many meanings for me personally and my business.

  Truth be told, I started making jewelry over 10 years ago working with polymer clay. From there I went to making resin jewelry, then beaded, and now fine silver and sterling silver. This is where my passion landed. I knew I wanted to make handmade jewelry for women like me; women who want to not only enjoy the beauty of nature, but to also live in harmony with nature.

Furthermore, I wanted to create jewelry that is lightweight and will go with anything, which is what we all want. Am I right, ladies? 

It just makes me smile to create something with my sentimental value from my childhood into my adulthood. Just walking outside my door I get a sense of peace and calm. That’s what I want for you when you wear SEH Designs jewelry pieces. I want you to feel the same peace with a reminder of outdoor adventures with loved ones or the calming ambience nature characterizes while wearing SEH jewelry.
